Brewers New Milton Donates Floor Paint To Men’s Sheds

Men’s Sheds (or Sheds) are similar to garden sheds – a place to pursue practical interests at leisure, to practice skills and enjoy making and mending. The difference is that garden sheds and their activities are often solitary in nature while Men’s Sheds are the opposite. 

They’re about social connections and friendship building, sharing skills and knowledge, and of course a lot of laughter.

The sheds are whatever the members (or Shedders as they are often called!) want them to be. A Men’s Shed doesn’t have to be an actual shed and all across the country, many buildings have now been converted for the Shedders. 

All kinds of activities take place including woodwork, metalwork, restoration and of course plenty of chit chat over tea and coffee!

The Men’s Shed in New Milton recently relocated to a better property and needed floor paint to complete the refurbishment. The final space looks fantastic!
