Additional information
Preparation
Ensure surface to be coated is clean, dry, sound and free from wax, grease or any other contamination.
Application
Stir thoroughly prior to use with a broad stirrer. The product may be applied by brush, roller or spray. Apply one or two coats as required.
Thinning
Not recommended.
Limitations
Do not use under cold (less than 10°C), damp or humid conditions. Do not apply to damp or wet surfaces. Do not cross contaminate with other water based coatings - use clean, dry brushes and application equipment. If used as a stain blocker the surface must be completely dry. For heavy staining more than one coat may be required. Take care if tinting - do not tint with other types of water-based paint, even some universal colourants may not be compatible - a test sample is advised.
Coverage
Up to 10m² per litre per coat.
Drying Time
Touch dry in 1 - 2 hours. Recoat after 4 hours. Drying times are based on an ambient temperature of 20°C and 50% relative humidity. Lower temperatures or higher humidity will prolong the drying and overcoating times.
Clean Up
Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before washing with water. Do not empty into drains or water courses. Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste coatings.
Storage
Store in a dry, safe place. Do not store in environments where extreme temperatures may occur. Keep within 5-30°C. Do not store in direct sunlight.
